My dad…

My family ate together for the first time in a couple months, since both my sister & I are home now. We’re talking about youngest children, and then my dad says,

“Sometimes the youngest ones are the slowest to grow up. Like your sister (gestures at me)…she’s a little retarded.”

I had water in my mouth at that time and I started laughing so hard I couldn’t swallow it so it ended up dribbling out of my mouth (gross, I know).
